A telehealth visit is a scheduled video appointment with the same nurse-owned team you would see in our Plant City office, for visits that do not need a hands-on exam. You book online, choose a time, and meet your provider by video from wherever you are in Florida. Every consultation is free, whether it is by video or in person, and a licensed provider decides at your visit whether your care can stay on video or needs a trip to the clinic.

Care is provided within each provider's licensed scope of practice in Florida. Prescription therapy always requires a medical evaluation first.

What people ask before they book
Is telehealth right for an emergency?
No. Telehealth visits are scheduled appointments during clinic hours, not emergency care. If you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. Telehealth works well for the kind of visit you would normally schedule ahead of time, not something that needs care right now.
What do I need for a video visit?
A computer with a web browser, or a phone with the Google Meet app installed. You will also need a working camera and microphone, a steady internet connection, and a quiet, private place to talk. We recommend testing your camera and microphone a few minutes before your visit so we can start on time.
How does joining the visit work?
At your appointment time, open the Google Meet link from your confirmation email and select Ask to join. You will enter a private waiting room, and your provider brings you in from there. Nobody else can join your visit. If you are new to Google Meet, opening the link a few minutes early gives you time to get settled before your provider arrives.
Can I get a prescription through a video visit?
Sometimes. Any prescription always requires a full medical evaluation by a licensed provider first. Your provider decides at your visit whether your care can be handled by video, based on what is clinically appropriate and permitted under Florida law. Some medications and situations require an in-person exam, and your provider will let you know if that is the case for you.
What does a video visit cost?
The same as it would in person. Every consultation is free, whether you choose video or an office visit, and other visits carry the same published price either way. If you are a Precision Care Membership patient, your video visits are included the same as your in-office visits.
Who can book a telehealth visit?
Any adult patient who is physically located in Florida at the time of their visit. New patients are welcome, and the first step for anyone is the same: a free consultation, which you can book by video or in person. From there, your provider will let you know what works best for your ongoing care.
