A titer is a blood test, not a shot. It checks your blood for antibodies to a specific disease, such as measles or hepatitis B.

Immunization titers can start with a video visit. Your blood is then drawn at our Plant City office or at a Quest lab. Video visits are for adult patients who are physically located in Florida at the time of the visit. Call, text or send us a message to set one up.

Before you get tested
Do you do TB skin tests?
No. TB screening is offered by blood test only, with the QuantiFERON-TB Gold Plus test. There is no TB skin testing (PPD).
How much is a TB blood test?
The QuantiFERON-TB Gold Plus blood test is $100.00 at the self-pay price. It is also part of two packages: MMR + Varicella + TB Blood Test for $225.00, and the Complete Healthcare Student Package for $250.00. Insurance is accepted for TB testing, and coverage depends on your plan.
What is in the Complete Healthcare Student Package?
The Complete Healthcare Student Package is $250.00. It includes Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella IgG titers, Hepatitis B surface antibody (quantitative), and QuantiFERON-TB Gold Plus blood testing. School or employer requirements may vary, so check your program's list first.
